Mike has been associated with the AREA since 1998 and is AREA's Chief Financial Officer for Europe. Mike's principle responsibilities include transaction structuring and funding, interest rate and foreign exchange hedging, investor reporting and fund administration. Prior to working with AREA, Mike was a Senior Vice President and UK Financial Controller at Lehman Brothers. Mike has considerable international experience, having worked on assignments throughout Europe with his previous employers as well as a five year assignment in Hong Kong and Singapore during his twelve years with Ernst & Young. Mike has an Accounting degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
